Waxelene Review

Waxelene is a fantastic do-it-all petroleum jelly alternative. It fixes everything from chapped heels and lips to quieting creaky door hinges. It is even safe for baby! Check out all the uses here. I have reviewed a Waxelene jar before on my old blog, but this time had the wonderful opportunity to review one of their flip top tubes.

In order to test it properly, I decided to use it on my dry cracked heels over the course of one week by liberally applying Waxelene and covering my foot in a sock. I did not go barefoot all week. In addition to using Waxelene, I used a pumice stone once every three days to get rid of the dead skin.

The results are absolutely amazing!!

Before
In the before picture (this is also before the use of the pumice stone), you can see just how dry and cracked my entire heel is.

After
In the after photo, you can still see a small crack and slight dryness, but this is a significant improvement over the course of one week.

You can buy the flip top tube I received for $4.99, a 2 oz. jar for $6.99, or a 9 oz. jar for $15.99 on their website or at a store near you. You can use the code "BEESKNEES" right now at checkout to save 20% on your order.
