Introducing Michelle!

I'll be honest—I never know how to start off introductions.  Everyone always writes, "Hi, my name is so-and-so and I'm xx years old."  Well, I'm Michelle and I'm 22 years old.  Step one complete.

Then you want to know who exactly this person is and why they got hired to write for a MilSO blog.  I'm in the Air Force Reserve and am about to hit my three year mark in May.  My boyfriend is also in the Air Force, but active duty.  Being in the Air Force has given me opportunities to travel and meet new people.  I've trained with the Navy down in San Diego and made friends with people from every branch of the military.  Fun fact, I wanted to be a Marine before I joined the Air Force but that didn't work out, obviously.

If you're still reading, it means that now I talk about what I like to do.  Hobbies and such.  I'm a full-time student at California State University, Sacramento.  I work part-time at the gym on campus.  In my free time, I volunteer for a local care package organization, do Polynesian dancing, and spend time on the computer playing with Photoshop.  On top of this blog, I'm also a co-admin for the blog Perfect Southern Creations.  We create southern and military graphics so check us out (shameless advertising here)!
I'm always open to suggestions and will lend an ear if you ever want to chat!  Send me an email at michelle@operationmilso.com and we can talk about our boyfriends, what Basic was like from a female perspective, Pretty Little Liars, or even our Netflix and Pinterest obsessions.

Also, thanks to Megan for letting me be a part of this amazing blog and team of women!
